  • A passport with six (6) months’ validity A photo in .jpg format of your full passport data page
  • A passport photo in .jpg format (4x6, white background, without glasses)
  • A valid international credit or debit card
  • An email address for support purposes
  • An address within Vietnam during your stay
  • Your entry and exit dates and entry and exit points/airports

The e-Visa is valid for 30 days, and single entry only.

An e-Visa is processed within 72 to 96 hours of receipt of application and full payment.

Applications cannot be edited or resubmitted once processed and validated. Please ensure the information you put in is correct.

An applicant’s current and/or past actions, such as drug or criminal activities as examples, may cause the applicant to be refused. If you are refused a visa, you will be informed of the section of Vietnamese Law that was applied for the refusal.

A Vietnamese visa application can be applied for 4 days to 6 months in advance. It is however strongly advised that you apply for a Vietnamese visa 1 – 2 weeks before your arrival date to avoid any payment or other administrative problems.

Yes, even though you apply for Vietnam's e-Visa entirely online, you still need to print it and present the physical copy on your arrival in Vietnam
